Cadet Chain of Command
Leadership is the foundation of SFJROTC. The Cadet Chain of Command provides structure, allowing students to step into progressive leadership roles as they advance.
Each cadet learns responsibility by taking charge of training, mentoring, and program operations. Leadership is not just taught, it is earned through experience.
What Is the Chain of Command?
The Chain of Command is the organizational structure that keeps the SFJROTC program running smoothly. It defines who reports to whom, how communication flows, and how responsibilities are assigned. By following this structure, cadets learn to lead, follow, and problem-solve within a clear hierarchy. While cadets are encouraged to work through their immediate supervisors, they are never prohibited from asking for help when needed.
